SRAM POWER METER · SHIMANO SHIFTING
THREAD MOUNT 2X
Chainring set for a SRAM AXS Thread Mount power meter on a Shimano 12-speed road drivetrain. 52-36T and 54-40T, machined in Poland.

SRAM power meter with Shimano shifting. Now its possible.

SRAM AXS Thread Mount on an 8-bolt DUB crank
The power meter bolts to the crank. The rings mount to the power meter.

Shimano 12-speed drivetrains
Dura-Ace R9200, Ultegra R8100, 105 R7100 Di2 and 105 mechanical.
Back and front
Drag the handle to compare the two sides of the set.
Backside. The working side. The inner ring mounts here on four 5 mm hex bolts (10 Nm maximum), and the shift ramps and pins are milled into this face so the chain climbs from the inner ring to the outer. The Thread Mount interface in the centre fastens the set to the SRAM AXS power meter; removing it takes the SRAM Thread Mount tool.
Frontside. The visible side. The AERO pattern runs across the whole outer face, a relief machined into the aluminium that changes with the light and the viewing angle. Anodized in one of ten colours, it is the face the bike shows.
BACKSIDE
FRONTSIDE

Shimano 12-speed, front to back
The 44.5 mm chainline puts the rings where the Shimano front derailleur expects them. Everything behind the crank stays Shimano.

Not compatible with Sram front derailleurs and Sram chains The Thread Mount interface provides compatibility with the appropriate power meter mounting system, but does not make the chainring set compatible with Sram shifting components |
Recommendations
- NOTE: the Sram Thread Mount Removal Tool is required to remove and reinstall the chainrings
- It is also a good idea to use a new chain with your new ALUGEAR chainrings
- It is recommended to use a well-lubricated chain on every ride
- We recommend using the optimal Alugear 2x chainring combinations for the best shifting performance. Other chainring combinations may result in less precise front shifting and may require additional front derailleur adjustment
- The correct operation of the double set is guaranteed only when using Alugear outer and inner chainrings together
- Tool holder: 5 mm hexagon socket maximum permissible torque: 10 Nm
