Chainring set for the SRAM AXS Thread Mount power meter. 50-37T, 211 g, machined in Poland.
FOR SRAM DRIVETRAINS
The SRAM AXS Thread Mount power meter bolts to an 8-bolt DUB crank: RED, Force, Rival, or the ALUGEAR Vega. The chainring set then threads onto the power meter. Three parts, one rigid assembly.
45 mm chainline, 47.5 mm on wide DUB cranks. 12-speed Flattop chain. 50-37T now, with 52-39T and 54-41T to follow.
Made to shift as a pair
Front shifting moves the chain between two rings of very different size while it carries load. Every ramp, pin and tooth on this side is placed for that moment.
Shift ramps
Milled into the inboard face of the 50T. As the front derailleur pushes the chain outward, the ramps lift it off the 37T.
Engagement pins
Several engagement pins around the outer ring, so the chain climbs at the next one instead of waiting for a single ramp.
Four bolts
5 mm hex, 10 Nm maximum. Outer and inner are made to shift as a pair, so use them together.
Inner 37T
43 g. Its tooth profiles and release points are designed together with the 50T, so downshifts stay as controlled as upshifts.
Golf Ball Design
CNC-machined across the outer ring, the dimples catch light from different angles, so the face changes as the crank turns. The pattern is made in the same machining process as the ring itself and anodized with it.

Machining, anodizing and quality control all happen in Poland. The 2X architecture went through several design iterations and rounds of testing before this set came to life.

Recommendations
- NOTE: the Sram Thread Mount Removal Tool is required to remove and reinstall the chainrings
- It is also a good idea to use a new chain with your new ALUGEAR chainrings
- It is recommended to use a well-lubricated chain on every ride
- We recommend using the optimal Alugear 2x chainring combinations for the best shifting performance. Other chainring combinations may result in less precise front shifting and may require additional front derailleur adjustment
- The correct operation of the double set is guaranteed only when using Alugear outer and inner chainrings together
- Tool holder: 5 mm hexagon socket maximum permissible torque: 10 Nm
