-
36,4mm - seat clamp is ideal for carbon, alloy and titanium frames with an outer seat tube diameter of a frame of 36,4mm (+/- 0,5mm). It may fit most common frames that require 31,6mm diameter seat post

Choosing the Correct Seat Clamp Diameter:
The seat clamp should match the diameter of the seat tube on your frame, not the diameter of the seatpost itself. If the seatpost diameter on a frame is 31,6mm, you might actually need a 36,4mm seat clamp.
The best way to check the outside diameter seat tube of your frame is to use a caliper or refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your frame
The wall thickness of seat tubes can vary depending on the frame manufacturer and the materials used, as well as the thickness of the paint. This means that the outer diameter of the seat tube can be different, but the inner diameter of the seat tube is the same. These frames use one seat post size
ALUGEAR seatpost clamps are designed to fit frames that are within +/- 0,5mm of the specified clamp size. For example, a 31,8mm clamp will fit frames with a seat tube diameter ranging from 31,3mm to 32,3mm

RECOMMENDATIONS
Tool holder: 4 mm hexagon socket maximum permissible torque: 5 Nm
Use a torque wrench for precise tightening
The clamping mechanism of ALUGEAR seat clamp is very strong and allows tightening with a force greater than 6 Nm without the risk of damaging the clamp itself. However, please follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the frame and seatpost when tightening the clamp. Over-tightening the clamp can lead to damage to the frame and seat post (or negatively affect the performance of the dropper post)
